SIS Student Records Workcenter and more moving to Classic Plus UI on March 29

The Classic Plus user interface is coming to even more Student Information System (SIS) pages on March 29.

Classic Plus is a modernized user interface developed by our SIS vendor, Oracle. It is designed to improve usability and accessibility across SIS menus and pages.

While the look and feel of certain pages will change, all functionality will remain the same.

What is changing?

The Office of the Registrar will push an update to SIS that will transition many of our supported pages to Classic Plus.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Faculty Center
  • Student Records WorkCenter and pages linked in it;
  • Curricular & Enrollment Rep WorkCenter and pages linked in it.

This builds on our Classic Plus rollout from December, when a limited set of pages got the new look and feel.

Where can I get support?

Since the functionality of the pages getting the Classic Plus user interface won’t be changing, our existing library of KnowledgeBase (KB) documents will continue to provide step-by-step guides on key tasks. Over time, our team will update the visuals within those documents to reflect the update to Classic Plus.
