Preparing for Fall 2021 Enrollment

Dear UW-Madison Student,

This week you will be emailed the date and time of your enrollment appointment for fall 2021 courses. Enrollment times will begin on April 12, 2021.

What You Should Do To Prepare:

  1. View the Schedule of Classes for fall 2021, which is now live in Course Search & Enroll. You should begin reviewing courses to plan for your enrollment appointment so that you can enroll as close to your scheduled appointment time as possible. Note: Many in-person classes show “Room Pending” for the location. Classrooms will be added at a later date.
  2. Visit the Fall 2021 Enrollment webpage to get answers to questions about mode of instruction, pending room assignments, advising, and Course Search & Enroll.
  3. Review enrollment tools and resources for schedule building and degree planning.
  4. Talk to your academic advisor.

When viewing the Schedule of Classes, you will find that the majority of courses for fall will be offered in person, as UW-Madison is planning for a return to primarily in-person instruction. You should plan for a mostly in-person class schedule at the UW-Madison campus in the fall, including if you are an international student.

If you are an international student, please continue to monitor the information being shared by International Student Services. Contingencies are being prepared if international students have challenges obtaining visas or traveling to Madison.
