What if I need/want a fully online schedule of classes?

The vast majority of classes will be taught in-person and it will likely be difficult to build a full schedule with entirely online classes.

Students in online degree programs should consult with your advisor if you need help enrolling in your online courses.

For now you should sign up for a full schedule of fall classes, including in-person courses. We are preparing contingencies for international students who may face challenges obtaining visas to return to the United States.

International students should continue monitoring the information being shared by International Student Services.

What if my class shows “Room Pending” for the location?

A location of “Room Pending ” means this class will meet in-person, but a classroom has not yet been assigned. You should plan for all classes with a “Room Pending ” location to meet in-person. Check back in Course Search & Enroll in mid-summer to see the status of room assignments.

When will classrooms be added to “Room Pending” locations?

Classrooms will be added during the summer with the exact date to be determined.

How do I build my schedule if I don't know which buildings my classes will be in?

Try to schedule your classes with breaks of 15 minutes or more between them. Most of the time, 15 minutes is enough time to get between classes. In the rare instances where this is not the case you may need to adjust your schedule. If you have concerns about the ability to travel between classes you should schedule with longer breaks between classes.

I am seeing an error message for a class I should be able to take. What should I do?

You might still be seeing an error message from the last time you attempted to add the course to your cart or enroll. Revalidate the course in your cart by selecting the checkbox next to the course and then click the Revalidate button.

If the validation error cleared, you can now enroll (even if there’s still an enrollment error message). Check the checkbox next to the course and click the Enroll button.

It’s also possible you are getting an error message because you are trying to enroll in a course that has a co-requisite (A co-requisite is a class that you can, or are required to, take at the same time). Ensure that you are attempting to enroll in all members of the co-requisite group at the same time then check the checkbox next to the course and click the Enroll button.
