About the tenth week of classes during the fall and spring semesters, information pertaining to Commencement is sent to declared degree candidates. The mailing includes information from the Secretary of the Faculty Office as to when and where the degree candidate may obtain a cap and gown, the date and time of the Commencement ceremony, and the schedule of associated events.
Near the end of the term, information pertaining to Graduation is sent to undergraduate and professional school degree candidates via email. These emails are sent to students who have applied for graduation and include the following information:
- Name to be printed on the Diploma
- Current address for mailing the Diploma
- Information about International mailing options
- When work must be completed in order for the degree to be completed
Address information can be changed in the Student Center and names can be changed by completing and submitting a Name Change Request Form.
