Degree Completion Letters
Degrees are posted to a student record within a few weeks after graduation if the undergraduate school/college is monitored by the Office of the Registrar's Degree Audit Office (i.e. L & S).
After students' degrees have been posted to their student record and show up on their transcript, students may request a letter of degree certification. This may be requested at 333 East Campus Mall #10101 and usually can be produced during the initial visit.
If students require proof of completion of a degree prior to its posting on their record, they also may request a letter of completion in Suite #10101.
A letter of completion cannot be produced until the Registrar's Office receives the appropriate academic verification. Therefore, students may arrange for a later pick-up date or may drop off a pre-addressed, pre-stamped envelope for the document to be mailed out.
For graduate students that have a thesis or dissertation option, the academic verification is done through the Graduate School.
Undergraduate students in the following colleges or schools must provide the Registrar's Office with written authorization from that school or colleges' student services area verifying all of the degree requirements have been met before the Registrar's Office can issue a completion letter:
